Razor E125 Electric Scooter
The Razor E125 is one of the ideal entry level electric scooter for your child. Predominantly aimed at young children aged 8 and upwards it’s a great way to travel around, visit friends or just cruise around the neighbourhood. The Razor E125 electric scooter has a number of features such as a quiet but powerful high torque electric motor (chain driven) which is supplied by 2 rechargeable long life I’ve batteries.
You can comfortably attain speeds of upto 10 mph and how fast you go is controlled using a twist grip hand throttle located on the handlebars. In order to get the Razor E125 moving the rider must first push off with their feet until they are travelling at around 3 mph (walking pace) before engaging the motor via a trigger.
Once on the move the batteries will allow you to ride for approximately 40-45 mins continuously. Once depleted the scooter can be ridden just like a traditional push scooter so you are still able to get home. The batteries will require upto 8 hours to charge completely.
Additional features include a useful folding handlebar mechanism, this allows the scooter to be stored away easily without taking up too much space and is ideal should you wish to hop on public transport or carry in the back of a vehicle. The 2 wheels slightly differ from one another. There is an 4.9 inch polyurethane wheel on the back and an 8 inch pneumatic tire on the front. The Razor E125 Electric Scooter includes a handy charger,some tools to enable quick assembly.

“What can I say? Bought this as a Xmas present for my son, definitely his favorite present in years. Easy to assemble, holds the charge for a good amount of time-Can’t think of a negative thing to mention.”
“Purchased for my 2 kids , they are fast but not too fast. Well constructed. They are out riding them non stop until the battery goes flat. Ours seem to hold a charge for a good 2 hours. It took a while for the youngest to grasp the hang of it but now the look on his face when i see him riding it is just priceless. Well worth it.”

It was very difficult to find any negative comments about the Razor E125 Electric Scooter other than you need to be aware that the scooter deck sits fairly close to the ground. You really need to avoid riding over bumps or up large kerbs or you may damage the underside. One customer mentioned that under no circumstances ride through water like his son did. Had to buy a new one after that.
So overall the Razor E125 Electric Scooter is a very good model, safe, durable, easy to assemble and ride, any child would be very pleased to receive. We have no problems recommending this as a first electric scooter. It’s always worth considering acquiring some safety equipment such as helmet, pads and gloves for your own peace of mind.
